OVERLOAD PROTECTION DEVICE
The tool has an overload protection device. The tool will
stop if the spindle is locked for several seconds while the
trigger is on. If this happens, release the trigger, then wait
for a few seconds before you resume operation. To avoid
this situation, do not force the tool.
LED WORKLIGHT
See Figure 7, page 9.
The screwdriver has a built-in LED worklight. This feature
is convenient when working in close or tight areas where
additional light is needed. Whenever the switch trigger is
depressed, the LED worklight will illuminate.
NOTE: The LED worklight will go off when overload protec-
tion causes the tool to stop. The light will come on again
when operation resumes.
OPERATION
MAINTENANCE
WARNING:
When servicing, use only identical replacement parts.
Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause
product damage.
WARNING:
Always wear eye protection marked to comply with ANSI
Z87.1 during maintenance. If operation is dusty, also wear
a dust mask.
GENERAL MAINTENANCE
Avoid using solvents when cleaning plastic parts. Most
plastics are susceptible to damage from various types of
commercial solvents and may be damaged by their use. Use
clean cloths to remove dirt, dust, oil, grease, etc.
WARNING:
Do not at any time let brake fluids, gasoline, petroleum-
based products, penetrating oils, etc., come in contact
with plastic parts. Chemicals can damage, weaken or
destroy plastic which may result in serious personal
injury.
STORAGE
Before storing, always remove the battery pack from the
battery compartment.
BATTERY PACK PREPARATION FOR
RECYCLING
WARNING:
Upon removal, cover the battery pack’s terminals with
heavy-duty adhesive tape. Do not attempt to destroy or
disassemble battery pack or remove any of its compo-
nents. Lithium-ion batteries must be recycled or disposed
of properly. Also, never touch both terminals with metal
objects and/or body parts as short circuit may result.
Keep away from children. Failure to comply with these
warnings could result in fire and/or serious injury.
